On any given night in Australia, 105,000* men, women and children are homeless. Over 44,000* are young people under the age of 25.

In recognition of World Homeless Day, Centennial Park will be home to a mass sleepout to raise awareness and funds for youth Homeless Services in Sydney.

The event is an initiative driven by HRX, a private company with a program called   HRX Giving.  All proceeds from the night will go directly to Homeless Services for youth.

How does your participation impact homeless youth? See Kyle's extraordinary story below.

19-year-old Kyle is homeless. He was a high achiever in school, excelled HSC and was accepted into Uni. Life was just beginning until he told his father he was gay. These are the faces of homeless youth in Australia. And these are the lives you'll be making a difference to.

The HRX Sleepout

HRX, in partnership with Mission Australia, hosted the HRX Sleepout for World Homeless Day. The event took place in Centennial Park with all participants sleeping under the stars to raise money for homelessness. The event was an enormous success, raising $70,000 to support Mission Australia and their programs for homeless youth services.

In its second year running, HRX has organised a bigger and better event to raise even more money. Click here to see the food and entertainment line-up this year or the event brochure and schedule on the top left hand corner for a hard copy to hand out to family and friends.
